What does a love story look like? Usually, it’s two strangers or best friends coincidentally falling for each other in the most unexpected circumstances. And Kuku TV’s latest micro-drama Dil Sambhal Ja Zara is like that: when you think the story is predictable, it introduces new twists in the most surprising ways, keeping viewers hooked.
The micro-drama introduces a bodyguard, Karan, who is passionate about his job and follows his Mafia boss’s orders, moving in at his daughter’s house for her safety. The drama seems inspired by the Bollywood film Bodyguard, starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, in which the heroine falls in love with the bodyguard.
But Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’s narrative takes a thrilling turn, with both leads’ mysterious personalities, family ties, betrayal, love, and lies, making this drama a perfect treat for viewers. This show has all the elements to be a powerful entertainer.
The micro-drama, which starts as a love story, becomes increasingly dramatic with every episode, beautifully woven into a web of lies, betrayal, secrets, and unexpected twists – keeping viewers hooked till the end.
Kudos to the actors whose balanced performance synced with the narrative, making the show more interesting. Also, the sequences and scenes are packed into short episodes, allowing the user to enjoy them anytime, anywhere. It is a well-crafted romantic drama that unfolds into a thrilling narrative of the Mafia’s heirs, trapped in the dangerous game of crime, revenge, and love.
IWMBuzz rates Dil Sambhal Ja Zara 2.5 out of 5 stars!
