The captive reality show Rise And Fall is back with a bang for Season 2, premiering today, September 26, 2026, on Prime Video and the MX app. Initially, the show’s psychological social experiment format arrived with a layer of skepticism last year, focusing less on stunts or games, and more on how individuals navigate power, status, and constant changes in the tower, with contestants divided into Workers and Rulers.

While, the concept was new when it arrived last year, but the show’s success—with Arjun Bijlani emerging as the winner of season 1—has raised expectations, and it seems the makers rightfully elevated the bar this time.

The New Stellar Host

Season 2 raises the stakes by bringing in the legendary Virender Sehwag as host, replacing Ashneer Grover. Sehwag, a former Indian cricketer, widely celebrated as one of the most destructive opening batsmen in international cricket history. While Ashneer’s bold speech made the previous season interesting, the cricketer unveiling his hosting side is surprising. He looked dashing and equally entertaining—so far so good.

The host sets the tone by introducing this year’s ruthless power dynamic. He gave fans a glimpse of the well-furnished penthouse where “Rulers” make the rules and the bare-minimum basement where ‘Workers’ must sweat to survive.

A Powerhouse Line-Up of Contestants

What makes this season even more interesting is the line-up of contestants, with a mix of personalities ranging from renowned TV actors, influencers, and reality show stars to renowned journalists, politicians, and activists. This exciting line-up raises expectations for drama, engaging interactions, friendship, and even betrayal—full entertainment.

Television-renowned actor Karan Patel became the first contestant, making a stunning entry, followed by Niharika Tiwari (Reality TV Star) and Siwet Tomar (Reality TV Personality), setting the perfect start to the game with chaos, drama, friendship, and choices.

Joining them later were the rest of the contestants, including Priyanka Chahar Choudhary (Television Actress), Swara Bhasker (Actress & Politician), Gautam Gulati (Actor & Reality TV Winner), Tej Pratap Yadav (Politician), Shehzad Poonawalla (Politician & Analyst), Sara Gurpal (Actress & Singer), Manish Kashyap (Content Creator & Political Figure), Kajal Raghwani (Actress), Raj Grover (Content Creator), Anish Bhagat (Digital Creator), Irina Rudakova (Model & Influencer), and Kaira Anu (Reality Star).

Set Design

Production-wise, the show looks lavish. The ‘Rise And Fall’ tower is designed meticulously. The penthouse looks extraordinary this time, even more visually appealing than last year—boasting a massive living room and dining area to the cozy bedroom, jacuzzi, and more. In contrast, the basement is designed with rugged, dark paint, with a minimal bedroom, washrooms, and a living area—the lifestyle difference between the penthouse and the basement is clear, heightening the excitement.
