The churning in the web entertainment space has increased dramatically over the last few months and throwing its hat in the originals ring is Hungama with its supposedly chic and classy web series Bar Code.
A youth centric, 10-webisode series by Panorama Studios, the plot deals with the fascinating world of Bombay’s nightclubs, with relatable characters. It’s a brainchild of writer-director Vignesh Shetty.
Television’s known face Karan Wahi is part of the project and now we have learnt that Akshay Oberoi (Isi Life Mein) and Simran Kaur Mundi (Jo Hum Chahein) have also joined the ensemble.
The three have shot for the series and it is expected to stream sometime later this year.
Akshay and Simran remained unavailable for a comment.
