Talented actor Shataf Figar, who has enthralled audiences in projects like Shershaah, Skyfire, Aarya 2, is all set to entertain masses with a new web series. If the source is to be believed the actor has been roped in for the upcoming Netflix web series Khufiya.
Produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, it stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ashish Vidyarthi. Khufiya is the story about Krishna Mehra, an R&AW operative who is assigned to track down the mole selling India’s defence secrets. All along, she is also grappling with her dual identity as a spy and a lover. It is inspired by true events and based on the popular espionage novel Escape to Nowhere by Amar Bhushan.
Shares a source, “Shataf has been roped in to play an important role in the project.”
