Director Vishal Furia, known for notable projects such as Chhorii, Maa, and Forensic, is currently working on his next big project for JioHotstar. Tentatively titled Alibaba aur 40 Bhoot, the web series will have the right blend of drama, mystery, action and intrigue. The series, we hear, is underway, with work having started on it. The series is produced by Dejavu Arts, under the able direction of Vishal Furia.
We at IWMBuzz.com hear that Asha Negi, who made a successful stint from television to OTT and films with projects, Baarish, Ludo, Criminal Justice: A Family Matter, Abhay and more, has been roped in to play the lead role in the series. Initially, Asha debuted on TV with Pavitra Rishta, and has appeared in the dance reality shows, Nach Baliye 6 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 6.

JioHotstar recently released the one-of-a-kind mythological drama series, Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh, that uses artificial intelligence to bring the epic Indian story to life, with new episodes released weekly. Search: TheNaina Murder Case was also one of the latest releases on JioHotstar. It was a crime and mystery case, following a seasoned ACP who investigates a teenage girl’s murder while dealing with personal issues.
