Kunal Kemmu starrer, Single Papa, will stream on Netflix on 12 December. The series, created and co-produced by Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani, with Shashank Khaitan as the showrunner and executive producer, promises to be a feel-good tale that takes viewers into the chaos and warmth of an unconventional family. The series is produced by Juggernaut Productions.
As we know, the series has Kunal Kemmu in the lead role, supported by an ensemble cast including Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Prajakta Koli, and Neha Dhupia. The series follows Gaurav’s journey as he stumbles through the trials and errors of fatherhood, growing from a man-child into a responsible, loving parent, all while his relatives adjust to the new, chaotic family dynamic.
We hear that child actor Azinkya Mishra, who is known for his portrayals in projects across TV and OTT, like Kathaa Ankahee, Indian Police Force, Adhura, etc, will be seen playing a vital role in the series.
As per a reliable source, “Azinkya will play the son of Neha Dhupia. The mother and son will be heading the orphanage from where the child will be adopted by Gaurav. As seen in the promos, Gaurav aka Kunal, will bring home a baby, which he will adopt as a sudden and impulsive decision.”
We buzzed Azinkya but did not get through to him.
