Hungama OTT has been churning out interesting and diverse concepts, with the original presentations ranging from varied genres like thriller, drama, crime etc. Recently, Hungama launched its web-series Vinny Ki Kitaab, produced by Agastaya Jain and his banner, Creators Retina Entertainment. The series had a great ensemble cast of Aalisha Panwar, Abhishek Kapur, Mansi Jain, Sanjay Gagnani and more.
Now, Hungama OTT is working on a new series, a murder mystery drama titled The Sin. The series is said to be produced by Ved Raj’s banner Shoonya Square. The banner’s recent shows on TV include Gehna: Zewar Ya Zanjeer, Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, Mishri etc.
We hear that The Sin will feature popular actress Pavitra Punia in the lead role. She was last seen in Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama. Joining her in a vital role will be Vinit Kakar. Vinit is presently seen in Zee TV’s Jagadhatri, where he plays a don.
As per a reliable source, “The shoot for the series is presently on, with an intimate sequence being shot recently between Pavitra and Vinit.”
Though not much is known about the concept, we hear that it will be a woman-centric plot with Pavitra playing the central role.
We buzzed Pavitra and Vinit but did not get through to them.
We reached out to the spokesperson at Hungama, but did not get a response till we filed the story.
