Vertical content is gaining popularity due to its alignment with the natural, upright orientation of smartphones, resulting in a more immersive user experience and increased engagement. Many leading streaming services have recognised this trend and have capitalised on it by producing short-form content across various genres, adapting their concepts to meet the preferences of modern viewers. A lot of popular actors are now getting into the experience of working for the shorter-format, as it does not occupy much of their time, and gives them varied characters which offer creative satisfaction.

Now, we hear of Pocket TV working on a new vertical drama, which will have a medical backdrop. Popular actors Sehban Azim and Nyrraa M Banerji are presently shooting for a vertical drama series as the leads. Sehban is known for his projects Dill Mill Gayye, Thapki Pyar Ki, Bepannaah, Tujhse Hai Raabta. Nyrraa’s recent outing on TV was with Bigg Boss 18 and Pishachini.
This interesting concept is produced by JSK Entertainment, helmed by Amit Chandra and Kajal Shah. The engaging concept, we hear, will have Sehban playing a miracle doctor who works as a wardboy.
We buzzed Sehban and Nyrraa, but did not hear from them.
