Days after contestant Shreya Kalra accused him of making her uncomfortable by crossing personal boundaries, the actor is once again facing backlash—this time over his interaction with fellow contestant Akanksha Chaudhary.
The latest episode showed Akanksha Chaudhary emotionally shaken after Akanksha Chamola removed her from the gang. She was later seen sharing her disappointment with Shivangi, visibly upset over the development.
During the emotional moment, Ram Kapoor approached Akanksha to comfort her. He hugged her and kissed her while trying to console her. The clip quickly circulated on social media, prompting divided reactions from viewers. While some felt the gesture was harmless, many others questioned whether it was appropriate, with several claiming Akanksha appeared uncomfortable during the interaction.

The incident comes shortly after Shreya Kalra publicly shared her discomfort over a previous interaction with Ram Kapoor. Earlier in the season, Ram had kissed Shreya on the cheek after she won a task that helped keep him safe in the competition.
Later, while speaking to Shilpa Shinde, Shreya said she intended to set clear boundaries if a similar situation happened again. She remarked that even her father did not kiss her so often and said she expected Ram Kapoor, being a senior, to maintain appropriate distance. She also expressed disappointment that despite supporting him multiple times in the game, she did not receive the same level of support in return.
During the same conversation, Shreya also recalled another incident involving contestant Shivangi. She claimed Ram Kapoor had moved too close to Shivangi during a task, after which Harshad reportedly asked him to step back. According to Shreya, Ram apologized, but she questioned why such situations were happening repeatedly.
Following Shreya’s allegations, Ram Kapoor’s wife, Gautami Kapoor, publicly defended him. In a video shared on social media, she urged viewers not to judge her husband solely on edited reality show footage. Gautami rejected claims labeling Ram as “sleazy” and appealed to audiences to avoid concluding without knowing the complete context.
