ZEE5 is all set to launch a new web series named ‘State of Siege: Akshardham’, based on the attack on the temple of Akshardham in Gujarat in 2002.
After ‘State of Siege: 26/11’, this project continues the legacy of the ‘Siege’ series to honour Indian soldiers. The team, who created ‘State of Siege: 26/11’, Contiloe Pictures is back to produce the film, which will be directed by Ken Ghosh.
We earlier exclusively reported about Gautam Rode being part of the project.
Now, we hear, actor Mridul Das, who charmed audiences in Bombers and The Zoya Factor fame Abhilash Chaudhary have bagged the series.
‘State of Siege: Akshardham’ is slated for a 2021 release.
We buzzed the actors and spokesperson at ZEE5, but did not get revert.
