Bigg Boss, the iconic show of Colors TV that has always taken the nation by storm, made a dhamakedaar comeback but with a twist. Bigg Boss got launched exclusively on digital as Bigg Boss OTT which streams on Voot. The grand premiere of the show saw ‘over the top’ entertainment with ‘over the top’ host Karan Johar.

Bigg Boss OTT will bring to life drama, engagement and interactivity through its 24X7 high octane run for 6 weeks. Produced by Endemol Shine India, the show has 13 popular contestants and they are Akshara Singh, Neha Bhasin, Karan Nath, Nishant Bhatt, Ridhima Pandit, Urfi Javed, Divya Agarwal, Raqesh Bapat, Pratik Sehajpal, Muskan Jattana, Millind Gaba, Zeeshan Khan, Shamita Shetty. With the theme of the house being ‘Stay Connected’, the contestants and their connections will be put to test every step of the way.

Good points:

The first episode was spectacular. It saw performances by host Karan Johar. He danced on popular numbers like ‘It’s The Time to Disco, Radha and Shawa Shawa’. Karan’s dear friend Mala aka Malaika Arora also set the stage ablaze with her sizzling moves to the ‘Param Sundari’ song. Apart from the sizzling performance by guests, host, and contestants, the line-up of the housemates should have a special mention here. There is a mixture of some amazing people who seem to have different personalities. Karan Johar made the show more interesting with his sassy personality and swag. It was impressive.

Bad points:

Well, everything seemed perfect but Bigg Boss without Salman is incomplete. The superstar of Bollywood and the number 1 reality show are synonyms to each other. Karan Johar did a fab job but we were missing Salman Khan, who is the ultimate host of the show. Apart from that factor, contestants Pratik and Divya seemed like attention seekers, and Urfi and Zehsaan were funny.

Overall Bigg Boss OTT makes for an entertaining watch. IWMBuzz would rate the show 3.5 out of 5 stars and would recommend its readers to watch and enjoy it for an exciting breather.
