Asura, the psychological thriller produced by Tanveer Bookwala’s Ding Entertainment has been in the headlines with its shoot process being on.
With popular actors Arshad Warsi, Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka joining Barun Sobti, all of which have been reported exclusively by us, the series seems to be having an interesting cast.
We now hear of the extremely talented actor Sharib Hashmi being part of Asura.
Sharib who has been part of award-winning films Slumdog Millionaire, Filmistaan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan etc will play an integral role in the series.
As per a reliable source, “Sharib will play the role of the cop in this thriller series.”
When contacted, Sharib confirmed the news to IWMBuzz.com but did not want to get into details.
We reached out to the spokesperson at Voot, but did not get revert till we filed the story.
Sharib will also be seen in Amazon Prime series, The Family Man with Manoj Bajpayee.
