Mohd Nabeel Afridi, a YouTube actor, is a person who loves living his dreams of being an actor every single day. He believes being an actor is all about giving away secrets, silently and humorously, in a manner people appreciate it the best. He started editing as a hobby and then began exploring his interests. After giving many auditions for the south industry, in a hope to become something significant, he understood it would not be as easy as he thought. They often rejected him for various reasons, but his dreams were big enough to catch himself from falling off the cliff of rejections. And from it arose a channel named Warangal Diaries. Observing has helped in understanding and believing in the vision he carried in his mind when no one else did. He says, these days fresh talent is being found on YouTube, and that using such a platform to showcase skills and grab opportunities is a benefit. Anyone can be an actor. You can still be whatever you want to be if you can learn and showcase your work to the audience sitting behind the screen. It works as a medium of exposure, bringing in opportunities and creative freedom all at once.
Nabeel Afridi says exploring himself has only been the primary reason for loving what he does each day. Giving in lots of effort in editing, sound mixing, dubbing, he makes music videos, short films, and regular vlogs where he entertains his audience in every way possible. To grind each day with patience and having faith is the only way I could grab an invisible opportunity waiting ahead. He says having learned everything from YouTube; it’s his responsibility to give back to the community with his art. His passion speaks for himself, regardless of the challenges he faced. Never letting failures stop you from doing what you love is the only possible way one can go places.
On asking about where he sees himself in the future, he shared his love for acting and said theatre has always stolen my attention. Performing for audience is a way of living I chose for myself. Although Warangal Diaries is a comedy-based channel, I want to explore every emotion through acting and excel in the art. So that one day people accept me as an actor entirely. I think whenever a comedian becomes an actor, which I tried while doing many short films and music videos on my channel, it just doesn’t get delivered. Because the bottom line of starting a career as a comedian is to be funny and end up being a comedian while acting seeks truthfulness. It gets relatively harder for people to understand and accept a person performing an uncommon emotion, but I will never give up. I will always keep trying until I reach where I think I deserve to be, because it is only me who can break barriers and fulfill my dreams of becoming a Bollywood actor one day.
After speaking to him, it is absolutely clear that he is a dreamer with virtues and a human bound with talents. Every milestone achieved speaks for him and his dreams push him in making him a better person each day.
