Casting Directors Akash Jain and Praveen Verma have been indulging in great work in the mediums of film and the web. Recently, the duo has cast for the film produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment, Bal Naren. They also cast for the Yoodlee Films banner web series Invisible Woman.
Ask Akash about the experience and he says, “It has been a very nice journey as a Casting Director in the industry. Being a casting director, you have to be very calm and passionate about your work. Many ups and downs came, but I have always stood with my decision. It is a nice feeling to be working on a good project as the independent casting director.”
For Akash, his biggest achievement will be, “Casting for Yoodlee Films’ Invisible Woman which has Suniel Shetty and many big names.”
Says Praveen, “I am a person who believes in hard work and self-ability. I believe success comes to those who never give up, I would like to say, if you respect your work then your work will always respect you. I dream of owning a production house one day.”
For Akash, his dream is to, “Cast good and talented actors for deserving projects. Every actor has their graph and dream role, so I want to help them to get that role.”
Praveen opines, “Television has been a source of entertainment for decades and still continues to be. However, with the growth and continuous evolution of the Internet and the growth of social media, a new source of entertainment, ‘Web Series’ has emerged, steadily conquering the digital entertainment industry. Web Series these days are reaching new heights, developing content which is better than the Indian Television Entertainment Industry, and have also created interest among the youth.”
