This week introduced a lot of new content that’s lined up for viewers on various OTT platforms. Some originals while some films after a run on the Big Screen.
From 777 Charlie on Voot, Masaba Masaba 2 on Netflix, to Good Luck Jerry on Disney+Hotstar—the top five OTT releases that you can watch this week:
First would be 777 Charlie – directed by Kiranraj K, starring Rakshit Shetty, Charlie, Raj B Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri and Bhargavi Narayan. The movie is based on guy, stuck in a boring routine with his pessimistic and lonely lifestyle and spends days in the comfort of his loneliness. A puppy named Charlie enters his life and gives him a new perspective on it. Will the dog be able to bring the boy out of his misery? Will the two end up becoming best of buddies?
Next, you can watch ‘Good Luck Jerry’ by Siddharth Sengupta, casting Janhvi Kapoor, Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh. This movie is the remake of Nayanthara’s Kolamaavu Kokila. The story revolves around a happy young girl, Janhvi Kapoor, who somehow gets mixed in a drug racket to earn money in a short time. Unfortunately, the situations bring her entire family into the drug smuggling business. Lots of twists and turns come into her life making the film an interesting thriller.
You can also go for ’19 [1] (a)’. The storyline portrays an uneventful life of a small town girl, Nithya Menon who gets involved into something of political relevance. Will she get an ally to protect herself? Well, let’s watch the interesting film and find out.
‘Masaba Masaba 2’ directed by Sonam Nair is also a great option for the viewers. The Netflix project features Masaba, Neena Gupta and Neil Bhoopalam. The show is based on Masaba Gupta’s real life events. The storyline of Masaba Masaba follows the designer’s journey through diverse universes – from fashion to family and records her return to the singles market. The new season takes the journey ahead with upcoming problems, newer troubles and many more new characters in Masaba’s life.
Lastly Netflix’s ‘The most hated man on the internet’ is also a good option for watching. The documentary is based on a mother, Charlotte Laws who is determined to remove her daughter’s photos from a revenge po*n website then launches an online campaign to shut down its cruel founder, Hunter Moore.
