Actor Sshrey Pareek and his friends Ashwin Krishna and Mohd Ayraf launched the short film titled Iftaar, on the occasion of Eid a few days back. The film is made by YKK Films (Yaaron Ke Kissey Films).
The short film conveys the importance of Iftaar and fasting and spreads a very strong message of the need to stay united, irrespective of caste and creed.
Sshrey and Ashwin play key roles in the film, while Mohd Ayraf has directed it.
Says Sshrey Pareek on the film and the idea behind making it, “The religious rift in India these days was the primary reason for the idea behind this short film Iftaar. This film also spreads a message to respect all religions. Be it food or money, sharing it with someone who needs it more than us is blissful. That is what we wanted to convey through this short film of ours, made by YKK Films, Iftaar.”
Iftaar is available on YoutTube and was launched on 2 May this year.
