Chicken is preferred by all, as it is very easy to cook and you can make various dishes out of it. Among all chicken dishes, tandoori is healthy and among the best-preferred chicken dishes, as it is less oily. You can make this chicken tandoori without an oven. It’s deliciously spiced and pan-cooked. Most importantly chicken needs to be marinated for around 12 hours. Here we look at how to make tandoori chicken without a microwave oven.

INGREDIENTS:

* Lemon juice, chicken pieces, and salt.

* One cup yogurt, crushed garlic, crushed ginger.

* Kasturi methi, Fenugreek leaves.

* Tandoori masala, garam masala, nutmeg powder, salt, and ghee or butter.

PROCESS:

CHICKEN MARINATION.

* Wash and thoroughly clean the chicken pieces, add them to a bowl and add lemon juice and salt. Rub it properly and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

* Meanwhile in a large bowl whisk up the curd. Mix crushed ginger garlic paste.

* Add Kasturi methi, tandoori masala, nutmeg powder, and salt. Mix all ingredients properly and add marinated chicken to it.

* Rub it very well. Allow this to marinate for at least overnight.

* In a pan, add butter or ghee. Take out marinated chicken and add it one by one. Cover and cook it for two-three minutes.

* It may become a little watery. Don’t throw it away.

* Keep cooking on low flame.

* Now increase the flame to high and start sauteing. At this point don’t leave the chicken unattended.

* Let the liquid dry and you will get smeared tandoori chicken.

Your chicken tandoori without an oven is ready, which you can serve with green chutney or schezwan sauce.
