People’s increasing interest in cooking during lockdown is no secret. As per Google trends report, people have looked up more recipes than any other time in history during the coronavirus pandemic.
We have shared some simple recipes which you can try during this lockdown with minimal ingredients available in your kitchen pantry.
1. Scrambled eggs with cheese
Ingredients:- 2 large eggs, 1 tablespoon chopped onion,1 tablespoon green onion,1 tablespoon bell pepper, salt, and pepper.
Method:-1. Beat eggs in a small bowl until blended.
2. Coat a small fry pan with ½spoon butter. Heat it medium. Add tomato, bell pepper, and onion & sauté for 1 minute or until tender.
3. Pour eggs over mixture in pan. As eggs begin to set, gently pill the eggs across the pan to the spatula.
4. Continue cooking-pulling, lifting & folding eggs- until thickened and no visible liquid remains. Stir in cheddar cheese. Remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Serve immediately.
2. Cheese Maggi
Ingredients:- 2 packets Maggi, cheese, pepper and 1½ cup water
Method:-1. Boil 1½ cup water on medium flame.
2. Break the Maggi into 2 pieces and cook for a minute.
3. Add the spicy Maggi masala.
4. Stir it for 30 seconds.
5. Add some cheese and stir it.
6. Take off the heat and put some grated cheese and chili flakes and serve hot.
3. Cheesy macaroni
Ingredients:- macaroni, cheese, 2 tablespoon milk, fresh chive.
Method:-1. Take a microwave-safe cup add some water and Macaroni and salt. Microwave for 2 minutes.
2. Take out the cup and add 2 tablespoons of milk and grated cheese and salt.
3. Microwave again for 30seconds.
4. Add some pepper and fresh chive.
4. Chicken tortilla
Ingredients:- 2 flour tortillas, chicken strips, bell pepper, 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning cheese.
Method:-1. Microwave tortilla until crispy.
2. Take some chicken strips, add red, bell pepper, add 1 tablespoon taco seasoning, mix it well.
3. Microwave the mixture for 1-2 minutes.
4. Place the mixture on the tortilla and put some grated cheese. Place the 2 tortillas over it.
5. Microwave for 30 seconds.
5. Rice bowl
Ingredients:- ½ cup rice, water,1 tablespoon soya sauce,1 tablespoon sesame oil, 2 Bacon strips.
Method:-1. Take ½ cup of rice in a microwave-safe cup and add some water.
2. Add 1 tablespoon sesame oil and soya sauce and 2 chopped bacon strips. Mix it well.
3. Cover it & microwave.
4. Put some frozen vegetables and mix.
5. Take 2 eggs and salt in a cup, mix it well & microwave. Scramble it and garnish with the Rice.
