Young and talented Joshua Chhabra, who participated in season 14 of the reality TV show MTV Splitsvilla, loves to travel and explore new places. The actor got in a candid chat with IWMBuzz.com for our travel segment and revealed his travel buddy, road trip experience, and more.
Travel by plane, car, or boat – What do you like?
Travel by plane for sure because I love being at airports, it’s an indescribable feeling. Just makes me very happy, especially on night flights. Airports are an emotion for me, the excitement and happiness of travel involved is unique.
Your most memorable travel was:
It was Abu Dhabi in 2018! I’ve always been a huge F1 fan since childhood and that was my first experience of watching a Formula 1 race live it was unreal, magical! Also, it was one of my first solo trips abroad and the thrill, fun, and adventure involved with it is something I’ll never forget.
Vacation spot you long to go:
Japan! Because I’ve heard the country is part of like a different world! The beauty, the culture, and the technology are second to none. I’ve researched it and I can’t wait to tick that off the list, it’s going to be a fascinating experience.
Your favorite travel buddy:
I prefer traveling alone but if I’ve to take someone along, it has to be my younger sister! She’s always been my best friend, my partner in crime and we make everything a lot more fun together.
Styled up or Casual during travel:
Always styled up unless the scene is casual itself! I’m passionate about clothes, and fashion and I absolutely love looking my best wherever I go. It’s a statement you make without speaking!
Land, Hills or Beaches – your preferred choice:
I love winters and the mountains but I’d go for beaches, I get to show off my abs haha!
Do you prefer solo travel or with someone else?
I love travelling solo, it’s a high in itself! When you’re with someone, there are divided interests and it slows you down. I love discovering every corner of the place, culture and food plus I love meeting new people which isn’t freely possible when you’re with somebody.
Any road trip experience:
I’ll never forget my first Bombay to Goa road trip in college. We were on our way to perform the fashion show finals of a big fest! It was quite adventurous in good and bad ways but a memory I’ll never forget.
Dancing, singing or eating – your favorite habit during travel?
I love dancing, I’m kind of a bathroom singer but nothing beats my love for food. Infect I research extensively about the food prior to a trip! I’m always on a strict diet in my daily life owing to my career so travels are where I eat my heart out, it makes my heart happy!
