Vijay Sethupathi is undoubtedly one of the most amazing and popular actors of the South film industry and his fan following and rage is such that his mere presence is enough to make a movie blockbuster. If one Vijay wasn’t enough, we have a ‘double dhamaka’ in Master with Thalapathy Vijay in the scene as well and no surprises that the movie Master is already a humongous hit in the box office.
But one must note that Master is one of the first films to release in theatres post the Covid-19 scenario and hence there was always an air of vulnerability regarding the outcome of the movie. When Vijay Sethupathi was asked about what he felt before the movie released and its outcome, he said & we quote,
“I am extremely happy that it released in theaters because I always felt that after Covid-19, people will come to the theaters. People have started going to work and meeting others at malls etc. So I always believed that people will come to the theatres for Master as well. The only fear was whether the movie will release or not. It’s good that they allowed us to release the movie in the theaters.”
