The Professor, a professional thief, has concocted a plan to commit the world’s largest heist: printing billions of euros at the Royal Mint of Spain. He enlists the help of eight people with specific expertise and no vested interest in the outcome to help him carry out the ambitious plan. The criminal organization kidnaps people to help them negotiate with the authorities, who are plotting a way to catch The Professor. The outlaws prepare for a clash with the cops as time passes.

Money Heist fans couldn’t envision anyone else playing The Professor except lvaro Morte. The Royal Mint of Spain Heist was masterminded by Sergio Marquina, often known as The Professor. However, there was a time when Morte was not considered for the role by the show’s makers. Here’s how the actor got the part of The Professor in Money Heist, also known as La Casa de Papel, on Netflix.

Originally, the creators of Money Heist wanted an older man to play The Professor. According to OSSA, the writers wanted a “senior” person to play the part, namely someone who resembled an “old Harvard Professor.”

The casting director, on the other hand, had a different vision in mind and recommended lvaro Morte for the position. Morte imitated George Clooney from Ocean’s Eleven during the audition process. However, that did not work out. He auditioned for the part for over two months. On his fifth attempt, he finally got the character right. Morte was cast as The Professor, the mastermind behind the robbery.
