Yuvraj Singh is undoubtedly one of the greatest cricketers that Indian cricket has been blessed with, especially in the limited-overs edition of the game. He was discovered and groomed by Sourav Ganguly and the cricketer ended up being one of the heroes behind two World Cups of India, the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the 2011 50 overs World Cup.

In the last few years, we have seen many biopics on Indian cricketers, like Md Azharuddin, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and more. Recently, we even heard a biopic on Sourav Ganguly being announced. But hey folks, do you know that apparently, Karan Johar wanted to make a biopic on Yuvraj Singh but eventually shelved the idea?

Yes, that’s true. As per reports in India Today, Koimoi and BollywoodLife, Kjo had multiple meetings with Yuvraj and his team for a biopic but the idea didn’t work out. Reports suggest that while Yuvraj wanted an A-lister to play his biopic, Karan Johar wanted someone like a Siddhant Chaturvedi whose facial structure resembles with Yuvi to a great extent.
