It was back in 1984 when the actress debuted in the film ‘Abodh’ opposite a popular Bengali actor, Tapas Paul, as stated in ETimes. Tapas Paul, the actor turned politician had marked some of the biggest hit films to the Bengali film industry. He died of cardiac arrest last year.
