Evelyn Sharma made her effervescent presence felt right from the word ‘go’ itself in Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The movie was a blockbuster and it gave people a new perception altogether towards life. Currently, due to the quarantine, Evelyn is currently in Australia and when IWMBuzz in an Instagram chat asked her what’s her most favourite memory, she said and we quote,
‘I still remember it was so funny. I went there for the audition and I saw almost all the supermodels and extremely pretty looking girls there waiting for their audition round. I went there all by myself with an attitude that if I get it it’s wonderful but even if I don’t, I don’t care and all.(Chuckles) Then inside I told a man who was sitting in a chair that I don’t know what to do and hence I am going to be there do whatever I want to naturally. Much to my surprise, that person happened to be Ayaan the director and he told me that that’s exactly what he wants and then I came on board. It was so hilarious and Ayaan is a lovely human. He made us feel so comfortable. I had a blast on that set. ‘
