1. Neerja- Alia Bhatt was the first choice for the movie, but due to Alia’s height, the producers were not convinced. The producers thought that her height was not tall enough for the role of an air-hostess.
2. Raabta- Alia didn’t answer the question of why she turned down the movie during various media interactions. No one knows the real reason behind it but there are rumours that she didn’t want to work with SSR.
3. Golmaal Again- Rohit Shetty’s first choice for the role was Alia Bhatt. But just a few weeks before the official announcement she backed out and the role went to Parineeti Chopra. The fourth part of the Golmaal series was a huge success.
4. Saaho- Alia was approached for the role in Saaho but she turned down the offer due to less screen time The movie starred Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor and received positive reviews and was a hit.
5. Thugs of Hindustan- The drama film was initially offered to Alia but she turned down the flm as she didn’t want to be a part of it.
