The Khan trinity of B-Town comprising of humongous names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan & Aamir Khan is often considered to be the epitome of stardom in the industry. For the longest time, the perception around the audience has been that an ‘actress’ isn’t really successful in the true sense of the term until and unless she works with either of the Khan trinity.
While each and every individual has the liberty to pick and choose what they want and what they don’t, it took the industry some really strong and determined actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Deepika Padukone to reject a film starring a ‘Khan’ of Bollywood. Although Priyanka and Deepika have already worked with members of the Khan trinity earlier, only Kangana Ranaut is yet to share screen space with either of them.
Reports in BollywoodLife suggest that Priyanka was offered the role of Aamir Khan’s Ghajini but she chose to ignore it as she didn’t like it much. She also opted out of Bharat since she got married to Nick Jonas around that time. Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone were both reportedly offered the role of Aarfa in Sultan but both said no to it. The role eventually went to Anushka Sharma.
