Gal Gadot has built a reputation for herself as one of our generation’s most famous superheroes, thoroughly adopting the role of Wonder Woman over the previous several years and establishing herself as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after talents in the process. But it appears that for her next job, she’ll change things up a little, taking a new, far more sinister path. Gal Gadot has signed on to play the Evil Queen in the live-action rendition of Disney’s Snow White, according to Deadline. It’s a significant addition to the film and a significant departure for Gadot.

Gal Gadot’s inclusion in Snow White completes the cast for the picture, which will definitely be a box office success when it eventually hits theatres. Gadot’s performance as the Evil Witch will clash with Rachel Zegler’s portrayal of the eponymous character. With the starring part in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, which will be released on December 10th, Zegler’s star is on the rise. Although she and Gal Gadot are the only two confirmed castings in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, it’s a fantastic start.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will continue the Disney tradition of presenting its princess characters, including princesses, in a live-action scenario. Other recent additions to the Mouse House’s new range of productions include films starring well-known actors. Will Smith starred in Aladdin, Colin Farrell and Michael Keaton starred in Dumbo, and Emma Watson starred in Beauty and the Beast. Gal Gadot will join Angelina Jolie, who has already acted in two Maleficent films, as the leading adversary.
