Kim Kardashian is going through a lot right now because of her pending divorce from Kanye West and his more harassing public requests for her affections, but her most recent photographs demonstrate how hard she’s working to stay strong for her children. North, her eight-year-old daughter, and the KUWTK actress were seen clowning around in bed on Thursday in matching pink heart-punched pajamas, one of those let-down-your-hair parenting moments that are so important when things don’t go as planned.
Kardashian has received praise for maintaining a low profile while West freely discusses their arguments in interviews and on social media. West has shared private text messages that appear to be between the two, criticized Kardashian’s parenting style, and urged followers to “scream” at her boyfriend, SNL actor Pete Davidson. In a truck marked “My vision is krystal klear,” West also requested a bed of roses is brought to Kardashian’s house on Valentine’s Day.
The SKIMS co-founder has previously spoken out, claiming that West’s “constant attacks” have interfered with her desire for a “healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship” after he accused her of allowing North to make TikTok videos on their mother-daughter account in violation of his rules. In her March Vogue cover story, she shared her vision of what that looks like: “You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best,’” she told the magazine. “Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through.”
