Nayanthara is one of the most popular and amazing talented actresses of the South regional film industry and the diva has well and truly proven her credentials as a successful actress on many occasions in the past. Right from the beginning of her career till now, she has done some amazing spectacular work on the 70mm big screen in order to achieve a cult status for herself in the industry.
‘Lady Superstar’, as she’s fondly called by all her fans all over the country is currently receiving a lot of praise and appreciation for her trailer of Netrikann that released yesterday. More often than not, Nayanthara’s coworkers have always spoken well about her in public. But hey, do you all know this incident when Tamil actor Radha Ravi openly criticized and shamed Nayanthara in public?
As per reports in India Today, Radha Ravi during his speech Radha Ravi during his speech said that titles like Puratchi Thalaivar, Nadigar Thilagam are usually given to actors like MGR and Shivaji Ganesan and expressed his displeasure over Nayanthara being compared to the industry greats in an apparent reference to the the ‘Lady Superstar’ tag given to actress.
Not just that, he further added,
“Nayanthara acts as a ghost in one movie and then goes on to act as Sita in another. In earlier days, to play the role of a goddess, filmmakers used to look for someone like KR Vijaya. But nowadays anyone can be cast in the role.”
