We often look to celebrities for fashion inspiration since they always look so fantastic. We’re actually curious as to how they manage to look that wonderful all of the time and have never had a terrible hair/make-up day. But, like everyone else, they’ve had their share of mishaps. Here are my personal favorites!
Red C-shaped blush on Priyanka Chopra
This beauty look for the red carpet of the beauty awards went tragically wrong. While it had the potential to be a bold statement, it didn’t quite work out that way. Priyanka’s foundation was far too light for her complexion. To make matters worse, her blush was applied in an odd C-shape, similar to a highlighter.
Deepika Padukone’s OTT cake face
Deepika’s make-up is flawless these days. She can pull off almost anything thanks to her strong looks. Even she, though, was subjected to foundation mismatches, over-caking, and shoddy make-up. It pains our hearts that this is a recent photo, rather than an old error!
Purple lipstick used by Aishwarya Rai
This is a must-have on any WTF celebrity beauty list. Aishwarya Rai’s pastel lilac lipstick startled everyone, spawning thousands of memes and nearly breaking the internet. While we’d like to claim the aesthetic was fantastic, let’s be honest: it might have been better and simply looked odd.
Kangana Ranaut’s foundation mishap
Oil? Check. Wrong color? Check. Tones of ash? Check. In almost every manner, Kangana’s excessive make-up was incorrect. Kangana’s complexion appeared to be drowning in mounds of make-up, especially thanks to the bright pink lipstick and oily spots.
