For those who are unfamiliar, Bo-gum is a 28-year-old actor who first captured our hearts in his breakout performance as Choi Taek in Reply 1988 before going on to play Joseon crown prince Lee Yeong in the hugely popular K-Drama Love in the Moonlight. He was also renowned for MC-ing Music Bank, appearing in critically praised movies like A Hard Day, The Admiral: Roaring Currents, and Coin Locker Girl, as well as dramas like The Producers and Hello Monster, and for his “flower boy” good looks. In addition to being a successful singer, Park Bo-gum also contributed the song “My Person” to the soundtrack of the movie Love in the Moonlight.

Between 2016 to 2018, he took a break from acting in TV shows and motion pictures. During this time, he traveled to Manila and other major Asian cities for fan events before he appeared in the drama Encounter.

In 2019, it was revealed that Bo-gum would appear in a number of films to be released in 2020, including one starring Gong Yoo (Seo Bok) and another starring Park So-dam from Parasite (Record of Youth). He also made a short appearance in the Itaewon Class season finale, which made us chuckle. We choose to indulge in a little bit of style-stalking while we wait impatiently for his projects to be released this year in order to pass the time until we can see our Bogummy on-screen once more.
