“I am very proud of my roots and love the fact that I am from Karnataka and Mangaluru. It is just that I grew in Mumbai. I have always maintained that I’m a Karnataka girl who’s born and brought up in Mumbai. When I say I’m from Karnataka, I always have people asking me if there’s something in the water there as it has produced so many good-looking actresses and women.”
