- Vijay stood up for Rashmika: While promoting their movie, Dear Comrade in 2019, a reporter asked Mandanna about her past relationship with Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty. The engagement was called off just a few months earlier. Vijay then stood up for Rashmika and lashed out at the reporter saying, “I don’t even know your question…but it is no one’s business. Like I am giving an answer. I don’t even understand the question…how is it anyone’s business.”
- Rashmika said about Vijay giving her care and comfort: The actress struggled to cope with her feelings after her break up with Rakshit Shetty, and Rashmika’s best friend, Vijay was there for her. “I was recovering from my break-up with Rakshit Shetty. I needed comfort and care which I found in Devarakonda. I was struggling to cope with my emotions and it was him who lifted my spirits. He was the one who made me understand that there was a different world outside, waiting for me to embrace”, revealed Mandanna in an interview.
- Rashmika attended Vijay Devarakonda’s Housewarming ceremony: Vijay Devarakonda bought a house worth 15 crores in Hyderabad in late 2019. Few people from the film industry attended the housewarming ceremony and Rashmika was one of them.
- New Year Celebration in Goa: The actors have always loved each other’s company and they celebrated the New Year 2022 in Goa. They were accompanied by a few friends of theirs.
