Krishnavataram – Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam), as the name suggests, the film magically delves into lord Krishna’s life with a deeper and meaningful vision that connects to the heart directly. Hardik Gajjar, the director with a clear vision and attention to fine detail, surprises with his sincere attempt to narrate Lord Krishna’s story through a heartfelt spectacle, allowing the audience to understand the lord and blending love, emotion, and spirituality.

The multi-part film, in its Part 1, focuses on Lord Krishna’s journey from Dwarka to Kurukshetra after he parts ways with his ultimate love, Goddess Radha. The film beautifully sheds light on Krishna’s relationship with his wives, Rukmini and Satyabhama. The key aspect of his relationship journey is that this film presents the story from Satyabhama’s perspective.

The first half highlights the beautiful, mesmerizing bond between Radha and Krishna, while the second half focuses on his life after he leaves for a greater purpose. With simplicity and ease, the film shows deep emotions, meaningful lessons, and spirituality.

Actor Siddharth Gupta transforms into Lord Krishna and excels. We have seen many actors who, with their effortless portrayals of Lord Krish on-screen, have become favorites, and now Siddharth has joined the list. He brings innocence and strategic excellence to his character with ease, giving viewers visual pleasure in seeing him in the spectacle of Lord Krishna.

Actress Sushmita Bhat brought innocence, power, love, and divinity to her role as Goddess Radha. With every frame, she proved this role is made for her. What really helped her connect was her emotional expression and the purity of her appearance — just pure excellence.

Nivaashiyni Krishnan stepped into the role of Rukmini and, no doubt, portrayed the character beautifully. Then comes the role of Satyabhama that Sanskruti Jayana played. Besides Lord Krishna, Satyabhama takes center stage in this story. Her transition from intense, possessive love for Krishna to fierce warrior was goosebumps-inducing.
