On Wednesday night Anupam Kher hosted a redcarpet premiere of his Unchai.Actually, it is Sooraj Barjatya’s film. But then Rajshri Productions has been Anupam’s homeground since Hum…Aapke Hain Koun.
Amitabh Bachchan couldn’t make it for Anupam’s premiere as he was engaged in the shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati.Wife Jaya and son Abhishek were present. The interesting part of the evening for onlookers was to see Jaya and Abhishek ‘s super bonding with Kangana Ranaut on the red carpet.
“Kangana greeted both mother and son with tremendous affection, and they reciprocated warmly. Kangana has always been very fond of the Bachchans. Abhishek and Kangana go back a long way. They have been friends ever since they co-starred in Game in 2011. You will never come across any negative comments from Kangana about Abhishek or his family,” a source in the know asserts.
As for the patriarch Amitabh Bachchan, he and Kangana get along like a house on fire. When a friend recently asked him about her controversial image he had retorted he has nothing to do with her image.
