South actor Siddharth found himself in the middle of controversy recently after his apparent dig at Saina Nehwal didn’t go down well with the badminton sensation as well as her loyal legion of fans and admirers. Many felt that the comment that Siddharth made was not in good taste and ‘sexist’.
Finally after all the media limelight around the case, Siddharth took to his social media to write an open letter to Saina and apologize to her for the same.

Soon after the apology, Saina reacted as was quoted by ANI saying,
“He said something about me first and then apologised. I don’t even know why it went so viral. I was surprised to see myself trending on Twitter. Happy that Siddharth has apologised. You should not target a woman like that. It is okay. I am not bothered about it. I am happy in my place. God bless him.”
