Keeping in mind the negativity that has sprouted around her new film Sadak 2 and its director Mahesh Bhatt, daughter Alia Bhatt has decided to stay away from all interviews and press interactions to promote the film which streams from August 28.
“It is the only way to avoid unpleasantness. Considering the fact that Alia is in the middle of so many controversies about her father Mahesh Bhatt’s association with Rhea Chakraborty and also considering that Alia is caught in the vortex of a nepotism debate, the Disney-Hotstar team(the streaming platform for Sadak 2) has taken a call to keep Alia away from all promotional activities,” says a source close to the development.
Considering that Sanjay Dutt, the leading man of Sadak 2 has already bowed out of any promotional activity due to ill health, and now the film’s leading lady too has bowed out, it looks like bleak times ahead for Sadak 2.
