On 14th January, with Makar Sankranthi celebrations and festivities going all around, the producer Mythri Movie Makers announced the AA23 project officially – the 23rd movie of “Icon Star” Allu Arjun. This mega pan-India project marks the actor’s first collaboration with master director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Anirudh Ravichander will provide the music for the film, which is going to be a grand entertainer, and the first gossip about the story has it that either a superhero or a gritty action theme will be the center of the narrative.
The shooting of AA23 is planned for the middle of 2026, with the main photography possibly taking place in August. After the long production time necessary for such a big project, the film is already looking at late 2027 for its theatrical release. The fans and movie experts are seeing this project as the first step for Indian cinema to the next level, combining Allu Arjun’s huge popularity with Kanagaraj’s unique direction.
