With no signs of improvement, YRF’s first female-led spy film Alpha continues to disappoint at the box office. On day 11 (Second Monday), the film lost momentum, with a massive drop in the second week, earning just 0.75 crore net (75 lakhs).
At the current pace, the Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer looks nowhere close to the 100 crore milestone in net India collection even after wrapping its second week. Given its big-budget status and its place in YRF’s Spy Universe, the Shiv Rawail-directed film proves that content is King, and nothing else can save a film.
