Producer Ramesh Taurani indirectly addressed the reports that Aamir Khan has been cast as the lead in Race 4, rejecting the claims. The producer also revealed that casting for the fourth installment of the hit franchise has yet to be finalized.
On August 31, 2026, Taurani shared a post on his Instagram handle addressing the viral buzz surrounding Race 4 with an official statement. In his note, the producer said, “Official Statement on Race 4—We would like to clarify that the cast of Race 4 has not yet been finalized.”
He further urged the media not to report any speculations, as they will themselves reveal the names of the cast once finalized, saying, “We sincerely request the media and social media pages to refrain from speculation and from engaging with or circulating any unverified or false news regarding the cast. Once the cast is finalized, we will make an official announcement from our end. Until then, we kindly request everyone to wait for an official confirmation before reporting or sharing any information. Ramesh Taurani, Producer, Tips Films.”
Besides Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna was earlier reported to be in the cast, despite his character’s end in the previous installment. To which Taurani dismissed the claims. In addition, actors Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff were also linked in the same buzz.
Race 4 is currently in development, with a completed script by Shiraz Ahmed, but its official release date, director, and final cast have not yet been finalized.
