As per the media house’s source, Amruta and Himanshu have been living separately for the past one and a half years, but the two are not discussing separation or divorce as they share a cordial bond and are good friends. Also, the two remain in close touch with each other.
But what comes to mind is, if everything is fine, why are the two living separately? The reports say that their decision is rooted in several factors, including financial considerations, different career priorities, and responsibilities towards their respective families.
So the couple chose this way out to live separately and are taking time to figure out what works best for them. Also, whether they will reconcile or part ways depends on time.
And when asked, both Amruta and Himanshu said to TOI, “We are still married. Beyond that, we do not wish to comment on our personal lives.”
Amruta Khanvilkar is married to actor Himanshu Malhotra. The couple met in 2004 on India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, and after dating for a decade, married on January 24, 2015; the same year, the couple won the star-studded dance reality show Nach Baliye 7.
