Nearly a decade after leaving Versova, actor Anushka Sharma is set to return to the Mumbai neighbourhood. She and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, have purchased a luxury apartment worth ₹18.29 crore in Godrej Skyshore, a premium residential development in Andheri West, according to property registration documents accessed by this publication.

The apartment is located on the 24th floor of Tower A and offers a RERA carpet area of 216.30 square metres (around 2,328 sq. ft.). It also includes an exclusive area of 29.41 square metres, taking the total area to 245.71 square metres. The purchase comes with three reserved parking spaces.

Property records show the apartment was acquired for ₹18.29 crore. The agreement was signed on July 8, 2026, and the transaction was registered on July 21, 2026.

Commenting on the purchase, real estate expert Varun Singh said, “The couple has been staying in Juhu for some time now and Anushka has been in Versova earlier too. They moved to Worli for a few years in between but returned to Juhu, and now this investment in Versova shows that celebrities who went to South Mumbai are returning to the suburbs.”

For Sharma, the purchase also marks a return to an area closely linked to her early years in Mumbai. Before marrying Kohli, she lived at Badrinath Towers in Versova, where the cricketer was often seen visiting her. After their wedding, the couple shifted to Raheja Legend in Worli before later moving to a rented residence in Juhu. Their latest acquisition brings them back to a neighbourhood that holds personal significance for the actor.
