Asim Riaz, known for Bigg Boss 13 and Khatron Ke Khiladi, has strongly defended himself, rejecting his ex-girlfriend Himanshi Khurana’s claims about faith, spirituality, and religious differences in their relationship. Asim denied that he ever asked Himanshi to convert to Islam, and he asked her not to use religion as a weapon.

Addressing the controversy surrounding conversion, Asim, in his long statement, denied asking anyone to convert ever, “I never asked anyone to change their religion. Not once.”

Asim, without mentioning Himanshi’s name, emphasized how he pushed her to be a better version of herself, “Matter of fact, I was the one who pushed you towards fitness. You’ve been in this shape only after meeting me; before that, everyone knew how you looked.”

Urging her not to use religion as a weapon, he said, “So please, don’t use religion as a weapon. It’s a deeply sensitive subject, and turning something so personal into a reason for people to hate me is immature and only shows how low you’re willing to go for attention.”

Speaking about his career, Asim mentioned he never needed anyone and has built everything himself: “And when it came to my career, I never needed anyone to build it for me or claim credit for what they never contributed.”

Further, he added, “Who has more money and who has less? Well, if you really want to know, the bank statements can settle that. But money was never the measure of character. Character is how far you’re willing to fall when you’re desperate for attention, relevance, or a few more views.”

Calling out digging into the past and gossiping, Asim indirectly slammed Paras Chhabra, saying, “Years later, digging through old relationships and personal lives just to create more gossip says more about the person digging than the person being talked about.”

And lastly, sarcastically calling the host without mentioning Paras, Asim said, “And to the man behind the microphone, sitting there with his stomach hanging out like a pig while making gossip his profession, brother, respectfully, I’d suggest spending a little less time discussing other people’s lives and a little more time in the gym.”

Asim Riaz Rejects Himanshi Khurana's Conversion Claims:

Recently on a podcast with Paras Chhabra, Himanshi, while addressing the reports of her conversion while she was dating Asim Riaz, shared, “I would not call it conversion, but he was telling me the good things about his religion and explaining everything. That is a good thing.”

She further added that sharing beliefs isn’t wrong, but she didn’t wish to embrace it herself, “He wanted me to understand it and accept it, but I was not willing.”

Soon after his clarification, Asim on August 24 claimed that Himanshi reached out to him in March 2024—three months after their split—begging to reconcile. He warned, “Don’t worry, I have the message screenshot; if needed, I will post it next time.”

Asim and Himanshi broke up on December 6, 2023, following their nearly four years of relationship.
