Amitabh Bachchan is leaving no stone unturned to help the underprivileged during coronavirus pandemic. The actor has been associated with a lot of Government projects to spread awareness about COVID-19. He is also actively motivating fans to practise social distancing and self-isolation to curb the spread of the virus.

According to the report, on behalf of Big B, AB Corp Ltd’s MD Rajesh Yadav is spearheading the commendable work for the needy. Since 28th March, he has been distributing 4500 packets of cooked food on a daily basis since on the various locations in Mumbai like Haji Ali Dargah, Antop Hill, Dharavi, Juhu and others. He also distributed about 10000 ration packets of dry ration to 10000 families which would suffice each family’s ration requirement for a month. Furthermore, his team is now distributing 2000 dry food packets, 2000 water bottles and around 1200 slippers daily from 9th May, 2020 to migrant workers who are leaving Mumbai for their native places. They also came with the idea of sending migrant workers by buses to Uttar Pradesh. With a lot of efforts, his team is finally sending more than 10 buses to UP this Thursday which would be flagged from Haji Ali.

Partnering with various agencies and local authorities, Amitabh’s office has distributed countless numbers of masks and sanitizers and also donated about more than 20000 PPE kits to hospitals, Police stations, BMC Offices and funeral places.
