Starring Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the powerful roles of DCP Ajooni Kohli and DCP Raman Kumar, Daayra failed to make an impact even in its first week. After the first weekend, the film fell flat on Day 4 (First Monday), struggling to touch the ₹5 crore net milestone. While a post-weekend drop is normal for off-season releases, this sharp 74.3% deceleration signals minimal theatrical longevity.
The Meghna Gulzar-directed film collected ₹0.45 crore net (₹45 lakhs) on Day 4 (First Monday) across 1,562 shows with just 11 percent occupancy. Overseas, the film collected ₹0.25 crore gross on Day 4, according to Sacnilk reports.
