Daayra Box Office Collection Day 6: Kareena Kapoor-Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Film Earns Just ₹45 Lakh

Meghna Gulzar-directed Daayra, a purpose-driven film, failed to impress audiences at the box office, with collections dropping each day. The crime thriller starring Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran saw another 10 percent drop compared to the previous day (Day 5).

According to Sacnilk, the film approximately earned just ₹45 lakh net on Day 6 (First Wednesday), reflecting its sluggish theatrical run. The film earned this low amount across 1,401 shows, with occupancy declining to just 10 percent.

Overseas, there is no relief either; the film saw a decline in collections, earning just ₹15 lakh gross on Day 6.

Total India Net Collections: ₹5.95 crore

Verdict: Disaster

With collections showing no improvement, Daayra turns out to be a disaster, failing to even near ₹10 crore net in the first week. In comparison, the competitor Vibe, released on the same day, noticed a positive change, though it isn’t doing well either.
