According to a Hindustan Times report, the company stated that it is doing its best to drive cost reductions to boost profitability; however, things have not turned around, aside from a reduction in losses.
The brand works under DPKA Universal Consumer Ventures Private Limited, which has Deepika Padukone and her father, Prakash Padukone, as its directors. In 2024-25, the company faced losses of ₹12.26 crore. In the previous financial year, the revenue dropped by 30% from ₹21.21 crore to ₹14.66 crore.
Deepika launched the luxury skincare brand 82°E in 2021. The brand offered a wide range of products ranging from ₹2,500 and above. Despite extensive marketing campaigns and the significant impact she has on social media, the brand hasn’t made a profit at all since its launch.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone is all set to star in Shah Rukh Khan-led King. The film shall also star a magnificent ensemble cast. The film is slated to release in April 2026. Apart from that, Deepika Padukone shall also star in Atlee’s next, alongside Allu Arjun.
