Rashmika and Vijay’s outfit was curated by Karan Torani, and talking about the specialities of the attire, the designer revealed that it took six months to make the unique, culturally rich, and regal attire blended with modern twists. He further shared that the designs were selected from hundreds of sketches and finalised with endless conversations and trials.
Recalling the first impression of Rashmika and Vijay, he shared that there was rare gentleness. And he also shared how Rashmika addressed him as sir, which made him laugh as he was of almost the same age, but that small gesture made him feel good and reflected the respect for craft.
Karan revealed that Rashmika and Vijay’s attire for Mehendi was inspired by the roots of the bride and groom from Coorg and Mysore, with moving canvases of India mythology, devotion, and celebration.
Karan not just designed Rashmika and Vijay’s attire for the Mehendi but also their family members, and with all, the celebrity couple allowed the stylist Karan Torani to explore and spread his wings in creating the drapes.
