Aamir Khan:
Do you really think that Aamir Khan debuted as the new chocolate boy of Bollywood in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak? Well, this might be his first film as lead, but not as a performer. Coming from a family involved in the industry, Aamir has acted as a child. His first acting experience was in the 1973 film Yaadon Ki Baarat which was made by his own uncle, Nasir Hussain. Aamir looked extremely cute in his cameo performance in the film as a kid.
Alia Bhatt:
We all know that Alia Bhatt debuted in the Karan Johar film Student of the Year in 2012. However, she has already faced the camera and lights as a child. At the tender age of 6, Alia was seen making an appearance in the film Sangharsh. Again, coming from the filmmaking family, acting and the art of facing the camera runs in the blood of Alia!! And this showed up from a tender age.
Hrithik Roshan:
Hrithik Roshan has been a success story as an actor and performer from the time his debut happened with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. However, Hrithik who’s family consisted of filmmakers, was pushed to acting by his grandfather at the age of 6. Aasha, and Bhagwan Dada were a few of the films that Hrithik has acted in as a child.
Kunal Khemmu:
The leading man of today, who has given us fabulous films like Kalyug, Kalank, Dhol etc, has been a top-rated child artist for many years. He has bagged immense exposure in acting as a child. A few of the films where he was seen sharing screen space with big names and gave doting performances as a child actor, were Raja Hindustani, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Zakhm etc.
Sana Saeed:
She is known even today as the cute Kuch Kuch Hota Hai girl. From films to TV shows, Sana as a child has featured in many projects. Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Badal were a few more of her performances as a child artist. She blossomed as a beautiful adult and made her debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year.
Sanjay Dutt:
Sanjay Dutt, fondly known as Sanju Baba is the son of Sunil Dutt and Nargis. Acting has always been in his blood. He has given us many towering performances in varied shades of characters. Though Rocky introduced Sanjay Dutt as the leading man, he has had his share of performances as a child. The 1971 film Reshma aur Shera had him in the role of a qawali singer.
Shahid Kapoor:
Shahid Kapoor has been the chocolate boy of Bollywood for a long time. However, as a child, he was known as the ‘Complan Boy of TV’. He used to appear as a child in a very famous Complan ad. He has also featured in a song video as a child.
Tara Sutaria:
She was seen as a child artist in Disney India’s Big Bada Boom. Tara was also seen in The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie. She made her debut as an adult in Student of the Year 2. Tara has now blossomed into a fine actor with great potential.
Urmila Matondkar:
Urmila Matondkar who went on to be in the limelight for her sultry appeal and capabilities as a leading actor, has faced the camera from the time she was a child. She has acted in films like Kalyug, Masoom, Bhavna, Sur Sangam etc.
