On opening day, the movie started slowly. Friday collections were not very strong, as only a limited audience turned out to theatres. Many viewers chose to wait for reviews or the weekend before deciding to watch the film. As a result, the first-day earnings remained modest.

Saturday showed some improvement. With the weekend starting, footfall increased slightly in multiplexes, especially in metro cities. The film benefited from casual moviegoers looking for light entertainment. Even though the rise was noticeable, it was not a big jump compared to expectations.

Sunday turned out to be the best day for Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos. Family audiences and young viewers helped the movie collect better numbers. Comedy films usually depend on Sundays, and this film also followed the same trend. However, the collections were still not high enough to call the weekend strong.

After the weekend ended, the movie faced a sharp drop. On Monday, the collections went down as expected. Many shows ran with low occupancy, especially in single screens and smaller centres. The fall indicated that the film did not create strong word of mouth among the audience.

On Day 5 (Tuesday), the situation remained similar. The film continued to earn low numbers on weekdays. There was no major jump, but the movie managed to add some amount to its total collection. By the end of the fifth day, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos collected around ₹5.8 crore gross at the Indian box office. The net collection stood close to ₹4.8 crore after taxes.

Another reason for the slow performance is strong competition from other films running in theatres. Bigger releases and popular titles are drawing more attention, leaving fewer screens and shows for Happy Patel. This has affected its box-office growth, especially on weekdays.

Trade experts believe that the upcoming weekend will be very important for the film. If it shows improvement on Day 6 and Day 7, it may continue its run for another week. Otherwise, the film could see further decline in collections.
